For a class project, I massaged the text, hand-bound, stitched, screen printed, painted with 24 karat gold, deckled paper edges, and designed and sewed a pattern for a satchel package for the book, Ishmael. Materials used included canvas, book board, elephant paper, clear varnish ink, 24 karat gold leaf, 60# uncoated stock, and more
